*WMLP customers who heat their homes with natural gas (National Grid) are not eligible and should instead seek their rebate through the MassSave® program.

If you are planning on installing a heat pump system as your primary heating system, sized to provide 90% to 120% of your home's heating requirements, apply for the Whole-Home Heat Pump rebate, which must be submitted before the heat pump system is installed to make sure it meets the program requirements. Partial-Home Heat Pump rebate applications are to be submitted after installation.

Apply for the Basic Heat Pump Rebate if your new heat pump is being added to:
- New addition/s less than 500 sq. ft.
- Previously unconditioned space less than 500 sq. ft. (e.g., attic or basement)
- Replacing existing heat pumps
New construction projects are ineligible for WMLP rebates, including new additions equal to or greater than 500 sq. ft. and major or gut renovations where the equipment is needed to comply with the current building code.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive your rebate, your contractor/installer must submit the Post-Installation QA Form for WMLP/Abode review. Please provide your contractor/installer the form before submitting your rebate application.
